This week is Thanksgiving in the United States. With the pandemic affecting so many of our small business with the recent second shut downs. I thought it would be a great time to take some time to exercise a new muscle – your intuition. Fortunately, it is not hard to learn how to improve your intuition as long as you allow yourself the time to practice.

One of the first challenges you have to recognize is everyone has a their way of decoding their intuitive communication. Some folks have what are called sensitive bodies, at the same time others have intuitive minds. In discovering which you have, you will need to play or experiment in a while learning to decode yours.

Introspection & You

Introspection is one of the keys to unlocking your intuition. The skill of looking deep within with an open mind and heart. Additionally, becoming intuitively awake also means you may need to push aside those external voices. Those voice aim to prevent you from listening to your inner voice or intuitive guidance.

Additionally, there are those who are not sure about their intuitive self. They, in some instances are incapable of being able to distinguish their inner and outer voices. Also, not being to trust your intution could be low self-confidence or apprehension, etc.

4 Easy Steps

Intuition is crucial to understanding who we are as individuals as well we business professionals. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you improve the intuitive powers.

Step 1: Ponder Often

Firstly, I encourage you to sit and simply ponder. Have your mind turn inward to focus on the quiet. Being able to afford ourselves even just 5 minutes, it will help in quieting our busy minds. The intention is to have you reach a state of complete rest. Regular training will teach you how to calm the thoughts in your most taxing circumstances. Think stress reduction!

Step 2: Be Truthful

Being truthful with yourself about your life and business is critical to your success. In addition, being honest with others actually empowers our intuitive sense. The power of truth releases the worry and fear that follows us on an emotional level. Our emotions can and will stop us from being able to hear our intuition.

Step 3: Get Active

Move it! Move it! Even a healthy individual might not be able to figure out the intuitive signals their sixth sense is sending. So move your body daily. Even if it’s just a 5 minute walk up the street twice a day. Normal physical exercise is absolutely important to help you tune into your intuition.

Step 4: Let Go of Judgement

Open up your awareness and let go of cynicism. Steer clear of fleeting judgments in others. Make an attempt to look at each confrontational situation from the other person’s point of viewpoint. Give your intuitive sense a small chance so you can begin to develop confidence. Just like with muscles, you need to exericse them regularly to become stronger.

Experiment with Your Business Intuition

There are a number of way to learn how to listen to your intuition. You might want to consider what works best for you. Trial and error, play, or experiment. Whatever approach you want to take. I encourage you to be open to possibilities.
